This is a very elegant wine, surprisingly gentle considering the varietal and the fact that it is not matured in oak. In this regard I think it is better with tapas rather than on its own, but that is personal preference. Calatayud is not a very well-known D.O. in the states, it is located in Zargoza, south of the Pyrenees. Garnacha is of course the Spanish way to say Grenache.
